Advancement Corporation of Abilene honored

The Texas Financial Growth Council not long ago introduced the Development Corporation of Abilene with the 2020 Group Economic Growth Award for Group Commitment and Leverage, according to a news release from the DCOA.

The award was manufactured in recognition of the DCOA’s venture with Hartmann’s Inc., a precision components company centered in Abilene which a short while ago expanded into a new production facility. In the effort to keep and increase Hartmann’s, the DCOA also labored with the Smaller Enterprise Improvement Center, Initial Financial Bank, the Town Council of Abilene and the Abilene Industrial Basis, and also secured a federal grant from the Economic Enhancement Administration.

“Receiving the CEDA award is a testomony to the community’s capacity to work alongside one another,” DCOA board president Jack Prosperous claimed in the launch. “As the leader in economic progress, the DCOA acknowledges the crucial roles that our partnering businesses performed in this venture. This award belongs to the Abilene community.”
